Experienced IGCSE/ A Level Tutor - Previous Examiner

With 18 years of experience across both the British and American education systems, I am an experienced and results-driven tutor specialising in English Language, English Literature, and History. I qualified in the UK and have extensive experience teaching KS3, IGCSE, and A Level, as well as a strong understanding of curriculum expectations and assessment standards. As a former examiner for WJEC and Pearson Edexcel, I bring insider knowledge of how students are assessed and, crucially, how to help them succeed. I am particularly skilled at supporting KS3 students in strengthening their foundational skills, ensuring they are confident, capable, and fully prepared for the increased demands of IGCSE and beyond. My approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student, helping them build both academic confidence and genuine subject understanding.
